Boidurjyo Chowdhury

Boidurjyo, the accomplished solo guitarist of the renowned Bengali band Cactus since its inception in 1992, is also a skilled songwriter for Distorted Chromosomes.

A scholarly individual, he pursued his BA in English at The Heritage College, followed by a master’s at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Supplementing his academic journey, he acquired a B.Ed. from Amity University, Kolkata.

Declaring his commitment to literature as a transformative life choice, Boidurjyo is now a full-time guitarist, finding joy in composing resonant tunes that captivate and connect with his audience, marking a harmonious fusion of his academic and artistic pursuits.
